NurseryCam is a SECURE web-cam facility, which allows parents to view live video images of their children securely over the Internet. Furness Childcare Ltd was the first Nursery in Cumbria to install the equipment. The equipment is installed at both our Barrow and Whitehaven sites. The system can be accessed from anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection and no special software is required. How secure is the system? All live images are encrypted using military standard 3DES image encryption and VPN. All data/ passwords use SSL-128 data encryption this is the same standard as used for online banking. NurseryCam servers are monitored 24/7 to ensure that the highest security is maintained at all times. Why install NurseryCAM? The Directors decided to install NurseryCam to enhance the ‘open door’ policy of the Furness Childcare and also to alleviate any worries that anxious parents may have about leaving their child in the care of another for the first time.
