Where possible we aim to keep the same staff in the same rooms to ensure continuity for the children. We aim for at least 85% of staff qualified (probably the highest in this sector) OFSTED require only 50% qualified. All other Furness Childcare staff are working towards a recognised (NVQ Level 3) qualification.
All Furness Childcare staff undertake a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure that investigates a potential carers background to make sure they are suitable for the job. We are committed to the continual developmentaim of all our staff we aim for them to undertake First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene training.
